There are around 45 public swimming pools in Hong Kong and more than 1,371 licensed private ones. Many are open from mid-April to October, while some close for maintenance at other times of the year. Rates are usually HK$17 per person on weekdays and HK$19 on weekends, with a discounted or free rate for seniors, children below 13 and individuals with disabilities. The price is a bit higher when using a credit card.
